Ka Paris Jewelry

Parigi, il sole, la Fashion week, Le Marais e Ka Paris.

Mi bastano questi quattro di questi elementi combinati per essere felice, anche in ordine sparso, ora che ci penso me ne bastano anche solo due di questi.

Ed è in una bellissima giornata di sole che incontro KathMarie Page, nel Marais, dopo un buon pranzo al Cafe Perle ignara della pioggia che si sarebbe abbattuta su Parigi dal giorno seguente… come in ogni Fashion Week che si rispetti.

Sono leggermente in anticipo al mio appuntamento con KathMarie, approfitto per una telefonata e KathMarie mi passa proprio di fronte, abbozza un sorriso cortese, io penso mentre sto conversando: “- e poi dicono che i francesi non sono simpatici”.

Mi dirigo verso il luogo scelto per l’appuntamento au Bar de Progrès all’angolo con rue Vieille du Temple e la riconosco, lei mi aveva riconosciuta già da prima e ci sorridiamo.

KathMarie, con quella particolare luce appassionata negli occhi, mi parla del suo amore per la fotografia, per Haiti, paese che ama e dove torna spesso, mi parla dei suoi lavori come regista e mi fa dono di due bellissimi libri.

E così KathMarie si divide tra la fotografia, Haiti, il suo lavoro di regista, un film che sta ultimando e i gioielli che sono arrivati inevitabilmente, da un richiamo che non ha potuto tenere sopito, e così nascono i suoi bijoux delicati, che coniugano il suo amore per le pietre, la cristallo terapia, la magia delle pietre e le sue proprietà, il risultato è speciale: gusto raffinato e minimal, il dettaglio speciale come piace a me.

Oggetti speciali da indossare nel quotidiano per non passare inosservati, io infatti io li ho scelti per il concept di cui sono direttore artistico da aprile 2016: Ginevra Concept.

I only need these four of these elements combined to be happy, even in order, now that I think I am just even just two of these.

And it’s a beautiful sunny day I meet KathMarie Page, in the Marais, after a good lunch at Cafe Perle oblivious to the rain that would fall on Paris the following day … as in every Fashion Week respectable.

I’m slightly ahead of my appointment with KathMarie, take this opportunity to a phone call and KathMarie passes in front, sketches a friendly smile, I think while I am talking, “- and then say that the French are not friendly.”

Finally, i arrived at Bar au Progrès on the corner of rue Vieille du Temple and I realize that she had recognized me from before and we smile.

KathMarie, with that particular passionate look in his eyes, speaks to me of his love for photography, for Haiti, a country she loves and where she often returns, talks about his work as a director and make me a beautiful present.

And so KathMarie is divided between photography, Haiti, his work as a photograph and a film that is finishing and the jewels that have come inevitably, a reminder that she could not keep dormant, and so came up with delicate jewelry that combine love for the stones, crystal therapy, magic stones and its properties, the result is special: refined taste and minimal, the special detail how I like it.
