Sono di nuovo qui, nel mio amato Marais, a due passi dal mio hotel e diretta verso il laboratorio di  Catherine Lévy, di cui vi ho parlato per la prima volta quattro anni fa, qui potete vedere i post precedenti.

I gioielli Dorette sono  entrati nel mio quotidiano e ne ho iniziata una piccola collezione circa 4 anni fa.






I piccoli gioielli Dorette creano dipendenza, sono piccoli, colorati, delicati, realizzati con tecniche artigianali  proprio come una volta e sono piccole poesie che non si vogliono mai togliere.

Questa mia passione ossessione è davvero molto forte e a tratti bizzarra e divertente…   ho incontrato diverse persone che hanno sviluppato  nei confronti di Dorette una forma di “addiction”.

I  gioielli di Catherine Lèvy  mi fanno stare bene, mi fanno compagnia, sono diventati i miei compagni di viaggio e all’anulare, dove una volta amavo indossare un diamante da 2.5 ct, ora trova posto il mio anello carta Dorette, ( e vi assicuro che non ho fretta di ripescare il mio solitario per sostituirlo di nuovo).

Sono gli unici anelli e anellini che io indosso indistintamente in tutte le dita della mano, benché io abbia sempre affermato che non avrei ma indossato anelli all’indice e al medio, ebbene Dorette è l’eccezione che mi ha fatto capitolare, adoro portare i suoi anelli in tutte le dita, credo che sia un aspetto che diverte molto Catherine e la fa stare bene, sapere che i suoi piccoli gioielli diventano amici di chi li indossa, testimoni di vita e custodi di segreti, desideri, sogni.

Catherine Lèvy consiglia di non toglierli mai perché sono gioielli con cui si convive molto bene e si prestano a qualsiasi nostra attività quotidiana.

Catherine aveva iniziato a realizzare qualche gioiello a mano poiché ha sempre avuto molta attitudine a creare, le è sembrato naturale  sviluppare il proprio marchio  Dorette, di cui disegna personalmente tutti i pezzi partendo dalle pietre per poi mettere insieme i vari pezzi..

Oro 18 carati,  argento, come  nell’epoca georgiana si era  soliti montare le pietre preziose, pietre selezionatissime e la lavorazione e il buongusto di Catherine a completare i gioielli Dorette.

They are the only rings and rings that I wear indiscriminately in all the fingers of my hand, although I have always said that I would not wear rings to the index and the middle, well Dorette is the exception that made me capitulate, I love to bring his rings in all his fingers, I think it is an aspect that enjoys Catherine a lot and makes her feel good, know that her little jewels become friends of the wearer, witnesses of life and guardians of secrets, desires, dreams.

Catherine had started to create some by hand, as she always had a lot of aptitude to create with her hands, and it seemed natural to create her own brand Dorette, of which she personally designed all the pieces starting from the stones and then putting the various pieces together.

Gold, silver, as in the Georgian era, used to assemble precious stones, highly selected stones and Catherine’s workmanship and taste to complete the Dorette jewels.
